At a young age, David Espinoza worked summers in roofing alongside his close relatives—developing the expertise and passion for the trade. Even as a newcomer, it quickly became apparent that the industry could improve by enhancing the experience for roofing crews and customers alike. This drive to raise the bar and exceed expectations in the industry inspired the founding of Shepherd metal Roofing.
At first, we focused on multifamily properties due to Jessica Martinez’s (the founder’s wife) previous experience managing such properties that required dependable, skilled contractors. This not only supplied us with the foundation to stand out in the industry but also helped us build a reputation for trustworthiness and efficiency.
Like most new businesses, we faced challenges early on. Streamlining our workflow—from inspection to bid to installation—for optimum success has been our priority since day one. Over the years, we fine-tuned our course of action and are proud to say today we’ve successfully created a proficient, customer-friendly process that serves our clients with the utmost quality and professionalism.
